☩Title: Lord Drakenford's Aegis
☩Age: Appears 29
☩Height: 6' 3" (190.50 cm)
☩Weight: 194 lbs.
-Unparalleled swordsmanship: His prowess as a warrior transferred from his pervious life, but centuries of living as a Forsaken one have refined his swordsmanship to a caliber unmatched.
-Advanced senses, strength, and speed
-Smoke travel: This is perhaps the fastest mode of transportation, but he can only sustain this form for about 5 minutes. Once he has exhausted all energy, smoke travel becomes impossible until he can replenish himself.
-Quintessence Absorption: Like any Xaphanian, he possesses the ability to drain quintessence from the living.
-Regeneration: Cuts heal faster than dismemberments. This ability requires a great deal of energy as well.
-Shadow Cloak (Illusory magic): When surrounded by shadow, D'Angelo is able to merge with the darkness. He is essentially invisible, but only to the extent of the shadow's reach.
-Soul Charming: With the aid of an enchanted violin, D'Angelo has the ability to summon lost souls. While completely harmless, lost souls can be helpful in certain situations. This ability is mostly reserved for recreational purposes.
-Lamina Irae (Blade of Wrath): This legendary blade is perhaps more well-known than its wielder. Fueled by the souls of the damned, this enchanted sword absorbs quintessance as well as warmth and unleashes waves of dark energy. It is believed that it was bestowed these darks preoperties upon its master's resurrection and has existed alongside the Aegis since before the establishment of Xaphan. The Aegis relies on the energy harnessed from his sword for sustenance, rather than feeding on quintessance from the living.
☩Personality: Taciturn, yet retains a manner of respectfulness and decorum. Prefers solitude over the company of others.
☩Known Biography: The Lord's Aegis has faded in and out of history for centuries, only resurfacing in times of war. With his face constantly concealed during battle, it is unclear as to whether the Aegis is multiple warriors inheriting the champion's guise or one Xaphanian who has miraculously staved off permanent death. His exact origins remain unknown, but those of the latter faith believe his existance predates the Xaphanian Empire itself. Among the Forsaken, he is a reclusive enigma, begetting numerous speculations regarding his identity; despite that, he possesses a thorough understanding of public and private affairs within the Empire; a silent observer who acts as eyes for the Lord of the Dead. More than anything, he exists as a symbol of Xaphanian supremacy - an undefeated warrior who silently enters and withdraws from the battlefield.
